How to install 3-fold soft tonneau cover for Ford truck?

How to install soft tonneau cover?

Step 1

  1. clean the bulkhead and bedrail before installation
  2. For Ford truck stick the front seal strip on the front of bed rail.

1.Place cover assembly on front truck bed rail against the cab.

2.Release safety buckies.

Step 3

1.Fully unfold the cover towards rear.

2.Ensure the cover aligns on truck bed.

Carefully refold the cover without moving position on the truck bed.

Step 5 Secure the front clamps

1.Slide front clamp to proper slot.

2.pull down the front clamp to vertical position.

3.Stick the clamp pad to mounting position on bed rail.

4.Hook the J-shaped clamp under the metal bed rail lip and tighten the knob.

Note:

  • Cutting the bedliner is necessary.
  • The clamps may not precisely vertical.
  • For trucks with utility rail,refer step 8 to install mounting block.

Step 6 Secure the rear clamps

1.Slide rear clamp to proper slot.

2.Pull down the rear clamp to vertical position.

3.Stick the clamp pad to mounting position on bed rail.

4.Turn the clamp handle to adjust rear clamp to proper length.

5.Hook the J-shaped clamp under the metal bed rail lip and push the

clamp handle to vertical position.

Note: The clamps may not precisely vertical.

Step 7

1.Seal the tailgate with seal foam strip.

2.Close the tailgate.

Step 8 For trucks with utility rail

1.Slide mounting block in to track rail.

2.Attach front clamps onto mounting block.

3.Attach rear clamps onto mounting block.

4.Tighten set screw on mounting block.

Note: Mounting blocks may vary depending on specific vehicle

Step 9 Fold up the cover

1.Open the tailgate and release the rear clamps.

2.Fold up the first panel and fold the rear clamps.

Secure safety buckles.

Warning

1.Tonneau cover must be completely secure in the closed position or

opened position while dribing.DO NOT DRIVE with cover in partially

opened position.

2.Clean the snow and leaves before fold the tonneau cover.

3.Period check to ensure all clamps remain sucure and tight.

4.Remove the tonneau cover before tow the truck from rear.
